Erni's Wedding

Today, terlebih d-rajin, so tulis 2 posts. Alhamdulillah our dearest friend got married last Friday (nikah) and Saturday was the reception.

Friday, 19th August 2005

Elly and I left from KL to Penang. On the way, we listened to Mawi's songs. Non-stop tuh. Listened from his Pre-lude till the Final; Aduh Saliha. To me personally, his Intifada was one of his best rendition. Sedap apa Mawi nyanyi masa Pre-lude tuh and my personal favourite PUPUS. Best giler.. even though i like Dewa, but, he sings better lah. Sorry ye Once.. jangan mare.. kita bisa suka jugak Once nyanyi hehe.

We arrived in Penang around 2.50 p.m and had our lunch there. Apa lagi, dah jauh2 dtg sah2 makan Nasi Kandar. But, to tell you the truth KL's Nasi Kandar have more choices. or maybe, we arrived late, so lauk dah habis kot.

Arrived at Erni's house at 3.30 p.m. Suma tengah getting ready for the BIG event. Hehe suspen tak Erni masa nie? Mak Andam came, siap2 suma then we were off to the surau for akad nikah.

Sah sebagai suami isteri

That night, was malam berinai. So, apa lagi Me n elly pun berinai lah skali whilst pengantin berinai. Kitorang berinai sambil watching CD Mawi. Layannnn yg bestnya layan ngan makcik2 Erni tuh. Even the aunties kata suara Mawi sedap n mmg hensem. Tengok, makcik2 pun suka inikan kami nie heheh.

Me n Elly ended up putting on the inai to all 10 fingers. (I baru tahu ropanya kalo tak kawin jgn letak suma2 10 jari). Selingan sat: When I went back to the office with inai on my fingers, budak kedailah, budak jual kuihlah asked me "akak baru kawin ke?" hehe. Even my colleagues asked me did i got married or was engaged during the weekend. Gimic semata2 ye kawan2 blom kawin lagik, tunggu M or F bukan nama sebenar muahahhaha ;)


Saturday , 19th August 2005 - Reception Day

Reception day. Ramai yg datang. And the best part is, the serangkai geng was there as well. Alhamdulillah. At first, Fida couldn't make it, Farah pun could not make it. Last2, Fida dtg with Ale and Saf. Farah pun was able to make it, ponteng kelas takpe farah sekali sekala hehe. Aneh came with her husband and family. Gathering tuh.

After the wedding, we headed back to KL. Elly, me, Fida n Ale convoy back. On the way back, stop buy to buy some fruits and went home safely. To our dearest friend Erni, take care and jadilah isteri yang solehah, amin.
