Malam Seribu Kenangan Bersama Mawi!!!!

What can I say, the title itself explains everything- Malam 1000 Kenangan bersama Mawi tuh hehe mmg 1001 kenangan actually.

Last Sunday, 4th September, at last I was able to see Asmawi Ani a.k.a MAWI in person for the 1st time. Pergh!! Best giler! I wanted to see Mawi earlier for the AF3 Reunion but we weren't able to get the tix on Thursday. So a bit disappointed tp takpe, Alhamdulillah was able to see Mawi on Sunday nite.

4th September 2005

Woked up in the morning and I had a big grin on my face. Not because my cousin is getting married that day but the thought of meeting Mawi that nite made me smile hehe excited, excited. So, that morning went to my cousin's wedding till late afternoon then rush back home to prepare myself. Took the Aksi magazine, took the CD cover, took the tape's cover of 'Best of Mawi World' album to get Mawi's signature kalo ada rezeki. ( unfortunately, tak dapat autograp, maklumlah ramai sgt fans mlm tuh). The theme that nite was white, blue and red, tapi takde red, takpelah yek.
Then, Fida n Kodeng came to my house and picked me up and we were off to PWTC. By this time I was grinning all way. Yelah Fida, Kodeng and Elly suma dah pg tgk AF, me 1st time sah2lah over excited sket.

7.00 p.m : Around 7 p.m we arrived at PWTC dah, searched for the Dewan Tun Razak 4. Passed through a restaurant there and heard ppl shouted "WORLDD!!!" Aisehman.. nampak sgt kitorang nak tgk MAWI , tapi takpe peminat kan maintain2. Elly n Kak Haza dah register themselves so we went and register ourselves. Memacam gak dapat door gift, dapat paperback Mawi, dapat giant poster Mawi (with his signature lagik tuh, jgn mare), dapat car sticker, dapat magazines. Puas hati gaklah. TQ.


7.20 p.m : People started queing up dah, we went for our prayer 1st ( dlm hati mintak2 Mawi jd Imam hehehe tak snonoh tul eden). Solat Magrib ( Mawi bukan Imam) then went back to the hall and searched for our tables. A bit dissaponted because although we registred early our tables was at the back..( ini bule menimbulkan marah nie) furthermore siap ada tiang plak tuh, dibuatnya Mawi nyanyi balik tiang camne? Eish eish...

8.30 p.m: Juan announced that we are waiting for Tengku Muna and Mawi will come in together with her. First time jumpa Juan all this while I only read his blog.

9.00 p.m: Around this time barulah nampak kelibat Mawi. The whole room stood and clapped. MAWI WORLDD!!! Huhuh dah start dah ala2 fanatik. (My brothers pesan jgn lupa diri to me a couple of times, tp ada gak lupa diri hehe sorrylah aura Mawi terlalu kuat).

Started off with doa' from Ustaz Asri from Rabbani, then speech from Mawifc president, then Freddie Fernandez and finally MAWII!!! He gave a short sajak titled 'AKU'. Tak ingat the whole sajak but ada sket2 I remembered he said ' aku bukan icon, aku bukan idola, aku bukan siapa2' ( lebih kurang camtuh) pastuh ada ' aku dipuja, aku digilai ramai.. aku takut aku lupa daratan, lupa diri.. ARRRGHHH!!!" terkezut eden masa MAwi jerit nie. Agaknya abis dia lepas suma. sian Mawi, sabar yek.. takpe kami suma sokong macam mana pun yek. Sabar yek dek.

Almost 10 p.m: MAKANN!! Lapar giler time nie. Tgh2 makan tetiba, ada persembahan drpd KEFLI. He sang "BERHENTI BERHARAP!" Sedap gak sora mamat nie. Mmg sedaplah he sang BERHENTI BERHARAP. Fida n Kodeng mentioned that during AF3 Reunion he sang "Ratu" pun sedap, like Awie. Then performance from UNIC nasyid group.

Upacara memotong pulut kuning. Celebrating Mawi's birthday. Bayangkan rezeki Mawi nie, drpd tak pernah sambut birthday tahun nie jek berapa kalilah dia sambut birthday kan.



After dinner, then start performances by Mawi. He sang with Yassin-Mimpi Laila, sedap Mawi nyanyi.


Suka tengok style Mawi nyanyi, siap angkat kaki tu yg best :D


Waheeda also came and sang Binafsa. Then Mawi sang with Ustaz Asri (Rabbani) for Pergi Tak Kembali


He also sang with his nasyid group from Kulai Johor "wariqissalam"



Last sekali, his solo song "Aduh Saleha" hehe masa nie nak jek jerit " Aduhhhh Mawi!!!" ( tone fanatik)

After that, ada sesi bergambar with Mawi. But, as there were 1121 fans sah2 Mawi cannot entertain all. So, they decided we took pictures by tables together with Mawi. Tak sabar nak tengok gambar ngan Mawi tuh. As a surprise they even brought Nash and they sang together. Masa nie, Tengku Muna tuh dah balik. So, bulehlah I stand in front of the stage to take pictures of Mawi. As I was standing there, ppl kept pushing me, sedar2 dah betol2 depan Mawi and cam buleh capai jek dah dia. Punyalah terkedu, I forgotten to snap pictures of him. Huhuhu takpelah yek, dapat tgk Mawi dekat2 pun dah cukup bagus.






So, after the photo session (which was ages, ramaikan so kenalah bratur lama) kitorang pun dah letih, inikan Mawi. Penat dia. Nampak muka dia letih tp he still smiled. Takpelah Mawi, biarlah apa orang nak kata, we will support u all the way! YESSZAAA!!

Oh ye, when we were on the way back, sempat pose ngan Sham Kamikaze. pewit!!


Final verdict: It was WORLD!!!
