Movie Review: 27 Dresses
It has been quite some time since we went for an outing to catch a movie. Last night, at last we were able to get away from our busy schedule to catch 27 Dresses. To our friend's boss who made her stayed late in the office to attend your very very late meeting, riddance to you. Kesian our friend, had to wait outside for quite a long time as the movie has started. Apalah boss camnie.. don't you people have lives of your own? Entahlah kekadang pk, bosses like this whether is it their hobby to make other peoples' lives miserable or is it actually they themselves don't have a life of their own. Boss, 6 o'clock means baliklah.. apa nak dok kat opis lagik.
Panjang plak membebel pasal boss nie hehe, anyway.. back to the review. In short, I love it! It has humor, it has scarsm, it is a chick flick movie, i know but it is just one of the movies that guys would watch it too. It is a story about this lady (Katherine Heigl) who has been a bridesmaid for 27 weddings (that's why the movie is entitled 27 Dresses). She just loves the idea of a wedding, she loves to attend weddings to see her friends get married.
Alas, she met with a guy (James Marsden) who is the total opposite of her who doesn't like wedding and the idea of it. But, in the end, as this is a romantic comedy anyway, they end up together when she realizes that this guy is the one for her and not her boss ( because at first, she tot that she was in love with the boss). The part I like was when both of them state which part of the wedding that they both like. And they said the part, when everybody would look at the bride when she enters the alter, instead the both of them would look at the groom (as James Marsden put it as: the unlucky guy who would go into a legal slavery for the rest of his life haha!). Which is to me very interesting observation, the look at the groom's face should explain the feelings at that point of time.
So, to all ladies I know you would love to watch this movie, when people said always the bridesmaid, but never the bride, well this movie has a very happy ending for the bridesmaid. Whilst for the guys, if you want to know or learn some pointers, you could just learn a few things from this movie too. In short, it was kind of cynism, but at the same time sweet and humorous.

Till then, someday it will be OUR day girls.
