Show Biz Animals

As i watched The Myth (2 stars je kot, may be less), my heart was touched not by the movie but by the animal stunts in the movie. Yeah, I know, in the movie no cruelty against animals on the set. However, when u watched the movie it seems almost so real the horses been beaten, shot, killed, etc. Jatuh-jatuh kuda tu. Sedih rasanya. Kesian la.

The same feeling goes to while watching the Lord Of The Rings, animals mainly horses are been used. Kesian gak tgk how the animal coach kerah and trained those animals. Yes, I know, no cruelty on the set but then how sure are u on that? Especially part perang naik kuda. Kesian kan tengok horses jatuh-jatuh. Ish... kesian.

Bergenang air mata watched Godzilla (years ago). Not because it was a sad movie. If u remembered, at the end men won against Godzilla. Sedih tengok Godzilla been attacked. Tengok camna mother instinct of Godzilla, protects her eggs (Ok, don't get me started on human low morality bila depa buang anak, total cruelty). Kesian Godzilla tu. Eventhough, mana ader Godzilla exists, but still it disturbed me.

Honestly, I don't watched Free Willy. Sebab kesian tengok dolphin tu. I know it was a happy ending, still the process nak be happy tu kinda disturbed me. Kesian. Though, the Willy was graphically created, looks real to me and.... kesian lagi. In real life are we that cruel? Rasanya macam ye je, sbb if u watched documentary, banyak tunjuk hunters buru animals, killing sharks, whales, etc.

Most movies about animals, I don't watched it. Jaws, did not watched it, Deep Blue Sea, nope, did not watched it. Lagi apa yek? Even citer Bidasari, I rasa tak patut bagi ikan tu tercuap-cuap bila tak de air. Kesian. Kuda Puteri Gunung Ledang pun sakit and mati. Not on the set la. After been a star mati. Tengok Lion King pun I rasa sedih. Cartoon pun I can be emotional. Menangis tengok bila bapa Simba mati. Ish tu cartoon, kalau real animals on the set, lagi la sedih. Nasib tak tahap meraung. Itu kes teruk kalau camtu. Might as well, I don't watch any movie or TV program. Hehehehe. Tetiba teringat Ewoks. Ish sedih gak tu bila rumah meka terbakar... or I'm confused with other story? U guys ingatkan Ewoks? Emmm...

I don't watch Ananconda. Tak de hati pun. Not because sedih for the ananconda, but more towards geli. It's a snake! Goosebumps all over. Ish, if I'm in Fear Factor, depa tunjuk je ular, I'm out of there baby. Ish.... cannot tolerate with that. Goosebumps goosebumps....

Usually at the end of the credits, mesti tunjuk 'No animals was hurt or injured during the making of the movie or on location'. Boleh percaya ke? Of course they have to train the animals kan? The animals mesti work hard. May be cruelty is a strong word, not the correct term. Tapi kesian la binatang ni. Kalau tengok mata depa, berair jek mata those animals. Macam plead for help. 'Help Me', 'Save Me'. Ala-ala dalam Tru Calling. Hehehe

Tapi kalau citer animals cute, tengok gak. Macam Stuart Little, geram tengok cute cats. Lassie pun tengok gak. Cute and adorable movies tengok laa. Animals turn wild and bad, tu yang sedih. Tak tengok. Isn't it because of us they turn bad?

Kesimpulannya, I just can't bare to watch movies with animals mati. As if, those animals mati sungguh-sungguh. Sedih laa... Kesian...

Hello everybody??Long time menyepi jerr....is it bcoz my mail server down or u guys yg down to email..why???i guess every body bz with ur job.....

perkara yg I suka lately nie is that the heavy traffic near damansara is improved!!!yahooooo...no more headache, no more sleepy.....aman rasa....I have experienced the 2 hour journey from office to my home!!!!!!!crazyyyyy...leh sampai Ipoh tue........hopefully this will recover soon....

Last Saturday we (Fida, Wan n I) had a blast at Anugerah Era 2005. Eventhough, tgk dari jauh je, but we had a really good time. Thanks wan for the tickets. That day, I catched a ride with Fida. N we listened to our school days boyband… who else.. yup the NKOTB (New Kids On The Block) ..hehehe. Well to think of, it’s kinda funny, but hey they are cool at that time. They are the one naikkan boyband way before BSB and Nsync.

And today, I was chatting with Wan, Wan was asking a good song to say farewell, and suddenly the song ‘Please Don’t Go Girl’ popped up. And we started talking about NKOTB. Old sweet memories.

The five dudes, Danny Wood, Donnie Walhberg, Joey McIntyre, Jordan and Jon Knight (hey I remembered their names…big applause for myself).

Now, our taste in music n songs pun dah berbeza. Dedulu NKOTB sekarang Mawi. Mellow down sket. Tak leh lompat2 sangat. No more boyband. N boyband ni lak ader yang buat onar, gi ngaku gay. Advertisements

Don't know about you guys but I like watching advertisements. GOOD advertisements I mean. Adverts with messages. There is a couple of advertisements that I like usually Petronas' advertisements created by Yasmin Ahmad.

• One of the advert was for Hari Raya (this is my sister's favourite). The advert is about a daughter who had a quarrel with her mother and she left her kampung. When she was small her mother carried her across the sawah to tend her wounds. At the end, when Hari Raya arrives she came back and thought her mother passed away ( sbb muka makcik n pakcik plakon2 xtra tu real giler sedihnya). The end was touching. This is one of my favourite advert as well. ( My sis suka part bunyi petir/guruh masa mak tu angkat tangan gaduh ngan anak dia tuh)
• MAS advert. This was a couple years back for Merdeka Day. It was a story about 3 boys. A malay, chinese and an indian who grew up together and got separated while growing up sbb perang. At the end they met up with each other after years and years of separation. ( Like the scene when they played rugby with the English boys perbezaan ketara kiter kecik depa besar hehe cute jek)
• I cant remember this advert was from whom/what company. I just remember that this advert was about during the war. A chinese family came to a malay house for shelter and the family helped out. If i'm not mistaken for Merdeka as well. Touching advert.

I was watching the TV this morning and there was a segment on educating people about dadah. How to help rehabilitate them. I suddenly remembered an advert about dadah as I was growing up. It was 20 years or so ago. The advert was about a girl who has a brother. It showed that the girl was very close to her brother. Suddenly, the brother changed, she entered her brother's room the brother isn't there anymore and they aren't the way they used to be. Last sekali tunjuk jauhi diri anda daripada dadah. Best iklan nie.. suka sampai skrg.

I feel that our government should start showing this kind of advert. Make people think. Unlike the 'TAK NAK' advert showing ppl with bad teeth takde effect. Make something that makes people think. Cam iklan dadah yg I mentioned tuh, dah 20 years pun ingat lagik cause ada message and mmg sedih iklan tuh. There is so many messages that we can pass to people through advertisements. We need to open up people's minds. Just my two cents.

p/s: siapa ingat iklan camne nak check tong gas bocor tuh? Yg tong gas tuh bercakap2 and lompat sana sini. Siap ada bunyi 'adoi!' biler pompuan tuh letak kuali atas dia hehe

Nak Ngomel Sket

Dengarlah eh silap.. bacalah my ngomel segment. For the past one week dont know for whatever reason I've been stuck in the heavy traffic.

• Monday - After office, wanted to go to Sunway Pyramid but instead, I was stuck in the traffic almost non moving for 1 hour from Tol Puchong to IOI Mall. Punyalah terok traffic. The next day only, then I realized the reason was because there was a white snake at the temple there. Dasyat betul effect snake nie.
• Tuesday- If I'm not mistaken KL hujan that day, so traffic ALL the way from Serdang. sigh*
• Wednesday- Was going through KL-Seremban highway and wondering kenapalah suma kereta nie slowing down near the Petronas there? And the cars kept changing lanes from left lanes to right lanes. Then, I noticed the reason behind it all. There was a lorry carrying 2/3 elephants!! Punyalah I terkejut. Never before I seen a lorry carrying/ transporting elephants! Imagine that. All my life I've seen lorries carrying chickens, 'babe' family members ke.. or even the covered van that carries horses. But elephants? Tak pernah lagik nie. What scared me was that the lorry dahle terbukak one thing, and the elephants ada tusks tau meaning bukan anak gajah and they were tied with only tali jek. Dibuatnya gajah tuh goyang2 kang melompat from the lorry camne? Tak ke haru? ( Thought of Jumanji the movie suddenly appeared to my mind). If I only I had a camera phone I would have shared this with all of you tp takde kan nak buek camno.. Fida passlah hp baru kat aku, takde ke? hehe
• Thursday- Smlm pun heavy teruk. This time worse because after I paid the toll, then startlah free gear. Tak yah gerak2 dah. I dont know why, but dont u guys go through the same thing? Seems like we paid toll just to enter traffic jam. Betul tak? eishh kang bebel lagik plak pasal tol n minyak. Takpelah keep that for future ngomel segment.
• Friday- Today, without a doubt sure traffic jam terok!

Sigh, is it me or does everybody goes through the same thing? I'm spending like 1/4 ke 1/8 of my life on the road in traffic jams. Sometimes even worse, we are stuck in the traffic and ended up at the end nothing happen. Takde pun accident ke, takde pun bende tumbang ke banjir ke. So why in the world did we stuck the in traffic just a moment ago!

Tu jeklah nak ngomel.. me n traffic jams.. buleh buat puisi tak nie? ;)

Malam Seribu Kenangan Bersama Mawi!!!!

What can I say, the title itself explains everything- Malam 1000 Kenangan bersama Mawi tuh hehe mmg 1001 kenangan actually.

Last Sunday, 4th September, at last I was able to see Asmawi Ani a.k.a MAWI in person for the 1st time. Pergh!! Best giler! I wanted to see Mawi earlier for the AF3 Reunion but we weren't able to get the tix on Thursday. So a bit disappointed tp takpe, Alhamdulillah was able to see Mawi on Sunday nite.

4th September 2005

Woked up in the morning and I had a big grin on my face. Not because my cousin is getting married that day but the thought of meeting Mawi that nite made me smile hehe excited, excited. So, that morning went to my cousin's wedding till late afternoon then rush back home to prepare myself. Took the Aksi magazine, took the CD cover, took the tape's cover of 'Best of Mawi World' album to get Mawi's signature kalo ada rezeki. ( unfortunately, tak dapat autograp, maklumlah ramai sgt fans mlm tuh). The theme that nite was white, blue and red, tapi takde red, takpelah yek.
Then, Fida n Kodeng came to my house and picked me up and we were off to PWTC. By this time I was grinning all way. Yelah Fida, Kodeng and Elly suma dah pg tgk AF, me 1st time sah2lah over excited sket.

7.00 p.m : Around 7 p.m we arrived at PWTC dah, searched for the Dewan Tun Razak 4. Passed through a restaurant there and heard ppl shouted "WORLDD!!!" Aisehman.. nampak sgt kitorang nak tgk MAWI , tapi takpe peminat kan maintain2. Elly n Kak Haza dah register themselves so we went and register ourselves. Memacam gak dapat door gift, dapat paperback Mawi, dapat giant poster Mawi (with his signature lagik tuh, jgn mare), dapat car sticker, dapat magazines. Puas hati gaklah. TQ.


7.20 p.m : People started queing up dah, we went for our prayer 1st ( dlm hati mintak2 Mawi jd Imam hehehe tak snonoh tul eden). Solat Magrib ( Mawi bukan Imam) then went back to the hall and searched for our tables. A bit dissaponted because although we registred early our tables was at the back..( ini bule menimbulkan marah nie) furthermore siap ada tiang plak tuh, dibuatnya Mawi nyanyi balik tiang camne? Eish eish...

8.30 p.m: Juan announced that we are waiting for Tengku Muna and Mawi will come in together with her. First time jumpa Juan all this while I only read his blog.

9.00 p.m: Around this time barulah nampak kelibat Mawi. The whole room stood and clapped. MAWI WORLDD!!! Huhuh dah start dah ala2 fanatik. (My brothers pesan jgn lupa diri to me a couple of times, tp ada gak lupa diri hehe sorrylah aura Mawi terlalu kuat).

Started off with doa' from Ustaz Asri from Rabbani, then speech from Mawifc president, then Freddie Fernandez and finally MAWII!!! He gave a short sajak titled 'AKU'. Tak ingat the whole sajak but ada sket2 I remembered he said ' aku bukan icon, aku bukan idola, aku bukan siapa2' ( lebih kurang camtuh) pastuh ada ' aku dipuja, aku digilai ramai.. aku takut aku lupa daratan, lupa diri.. ARRRGHHH!!!" terkezut eden masa MAwi jerit nie. Agaknya abis dia lepas suma. sian Mawi, sabar yek.. takpe kami suma sokong macam mana pun yek. Sabar yek dek.

Almost 10 p.m: MAKANN!! Lapar giler time nie. Tgh2 makan tetiba, ada persembahan drpd KEFLI. He sang "BERHENTI BERHARAP!" Sedap gak sora mamat nie. Mmg sedaplah he sang BERHENTI BERHARAP. Fida n Kodeng mentioned that during AF3 Reunion he sang "Ratu" pun sedap, like Awie. Then performance from UNIC nasyid group.

Upacara memotong pulut kuning. Celebrating Mawi's birthday. Bayangkan rezeki Mawi nie, drpd tak pernah sambut birthday tahun nie jek berapa kalilah dia sambut birthday kan.



After dinner, then start performances by Mawi. He sang with Yassin-Mimpi Laila, sedap Mawi nyanyi.


Suka tengok style Mawi nyanyi, siap angkat kaki tu yg best :D


Waheeda also came and sang Binafsa. Then Mawi sang with Ustaz Asri (Rabbani) for Pergi Tak Kembali


He also sang with his nasyid group from Kulai Johor "wariqissalam"



Last sekali, his solo song "Aduh Saleha" hehe masa nie nak jek jerit " Aduhhhh Mawi!!!" ( tone fanatik)

After that, ada sesi bergambar with Mawi. But, as there were 1121 fans sah2 Mawi cannot entertain all. So, they decided we took pictures by tables together with Mawi. Tak sabar nak tengok gambar ngan Mawi tuh. As a surprise they even brought Nash and they sang together. Masa nie, Tengku Muna tuh dah balik. So, bulehlah I stand in front of the stage to take pictures of Mawi. As I was standing there, ppl kept pushing me, sedar2 dah betol2 depan Mawi and cam buleh capai jek dah dia. Punyalah terkedu, I forgotten to snap pictures of him. Huhuhu takpelah yek, dapat tgk Mawi dekat2 pun dah cukup bagus.






So, after the photo session (which was ages, ramaikan so kenalah bratur lama) kitorang pun dah letih, inikan Mawi. Penat dia. Nampak muka dia letih tp he still smiled. Takpelah Mawi, biarlah apa orang nak kata, we will support u all the way! YESSZAAA!!

Oh ye, when we were on the way back, sempat pose ngan Sham Kamikaze. pewit!!


Final verdict: It was WORLD!!!
